At Echelon Health & Fitness, our dedicated team is the backbone of our operations and the driving force behind our commitment to creating healthier communities. Today, we're thrilled to shine a spotlight on an inspiring member of our family, Jeff Mood.
Jeff, a celebrated veteran in the field of emergency services, a multi-sport athlete, and a cancer survivor, has recently been promoted to oversee the onboarding processes for our Thrive Personal Training program at both our Voorhees and Audubon, New Jersey locations. His leadership, born out of extensive experience and marked resilience, is an invaluable asset to our team and to the members we serve.
For more than 30 years, Jeff dedicated his life to serving his community as a firefighter, eventually rising to the rank of Assistant Chief. In parallel, he also served as a police officer and EMT, demonstrating his versatility, dedication, and unwavering commitment to making a difference.
Jeff's background in emergency services, coupled with his innate drive to help others, lends a unique perspective to his role at Echelon Health & Fitness. It equips him with a nuanced understanding of health and wellness and empowers him to support our members' personal fitness journeys with empathy and practical wisdom.
But Jeff's story of resilience doesn't stop there. He is also a cancer survivor. His journey through diagnosis, treatment, and recovery embodies an inspiring testament to his indomitable spirit, determination, and sheer tenacity. His personal experience with cancer strengthens his dedication to health and wellness, and he serves as a living embodiment of strength and perseverance to all our members.
In addition to his remarkable professional accomplishments and personal journey, Jeff also brings a robust athletic background to the table. As a multi-sport athlete growing up, he cultivated an intrinsic understanding of physical fitness from a young age. Today, he holds a USA Hockey Level 4 Ice Hockey coaching certification, showcasing his commitment to continuing education and personal development.
Beyond his professional and athletic feats, Jeff's personal life reflects the same dedication and passion he brings to his work. Married to his wife, Darlene Silverman Mood, for 26 years this November, he is a proud father to two children, Alexis and Matt. His strong family ties and steadfast commitment to his loved ones demonstrate the same loyalty and commitment that he extends to our Echelon family.
In conclusion, Jeff Mood embodies the spirit of Echelon Health & Fitness — resilience, dedication, and a commitment to community wellness. As he steps into his new role, we're excited about the wealth of experience, depth of understanding, and breadth of empathy he brings to our team and members. Join us in congratulating Jeff on his promotion and celebrating his relentless pursuit of health, fitness, and community wellbeing. Here's to many more years of thriving together!
